Andrew Heard and Anthony Phillips were appointed the Joint and Several Liquidators of the company on 5 October 2010.

City Slicker was a publisher of books and magazines sold around the world. On 23 September 2010 the Director of the company sold the business to Buckleboo Belle Pty Ltd and from 24th September 2010 the business continued trading as Country Bumpkin under new ownership.

A term of the contract of sale is that Buckleboo Belle Pty Ltd is to assume and perform all of the company's obligations for subscriptions and accordingly subscribers should be unaffected by the sale of the company's business.
